Saraki leaves for Accra for speech on Governance in Africa

President of the Senate. Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, departed Abuja on Sunday aboard Arik Air commercial flight to Accra, the Ghanaian capital.

He will on Monday address  the country’s  parliament, which is commemorating  25 years of uninterrupted parliamentary democracy. 

Saraki was invited by the Speaker of Ghana’s parliament, Prof. Aaron Mike Ocquaye.

On  Wednesday 28 February, Saraki had read the letter from the Ghanaian Speaker on the floor of the Senate.

In the letter,  the Ghanaian Speaker stated that his country’s parliament was planning a symposium to commemorate the occasion, and he was inviting Saraki to speak on “The Future of Good Governance in Africa.”
