FG begs States to allow Mock JAMB hold nationwide

The Federal Government has urged all State Governments to allow free movement of people on Saturday, 29 April 2017.

Many states of Nigeria observe the last Saturday of the month as cleanup day. The exercise takes place between 7am and 10am. But Lagos as a result of a court order had stopped doing so.

The Federal Government said the environmental day should be shelved to enable students to participate in JAMB’s Voluntary Mock Examination fixed for that date nationwide.

In a statement issued in Lagos on Friday, the Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said the mock examination is being conducted ahead of the 2017 UTME to enable interested students to familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) test.

The test  was initially billed to hold two weeks ago, but logistics hitches  led to its postponement.
