`Biggie,’ owner of Big Brother Naija (#BBNaija) House, has introduced a new twist to the eviction process, empowering `Ultimate’ Head of House to nominate four housemates for eviction.
Before now, the reality TV show, empowers housemates with powers to make their individual eviction nominations privately in the Dairy room with Biggie.
However, Efe, who won the newly introduced ‘Ultimate Head of House’ (HoH), on Monday night, was given powers by Biggie to nominate four housemates for possible eviction on Sunday, March 26.
Efe did not understood initially the full weight of his title, “Ultimate” until Biggie asked him to single-handedly pick four housemates for eviction.
The task proved to be a difficult one as he had trouble making the nominations, prompting Biggie to ask housemates to make a pitch to Efe.
All the housemates had to pitch themselves to him, giving him reasons why he should not pick them.
They were given sixty seconds each to state reasons why they should not be nominated for eviction by Efe.
Tboss stated that although she was almost nine years older than Efe, but they have found common ground.
She explained that she has been able to changed Efe’s perception about light skinned women.
Marvis, on her part, explained that she believed in being real and that being Efe’s Housemate “wife” she was sure to remain in the house.
Bassey acknowledged that he had differences with Efe, but they had sorted themselves out. He explanined that he was somebody Efe could trust.
Bally another housemate, reminded Efe of their friendship.
Bisola simply said that she met Efe for advice sometimes and they shared same philosophy. “let us go to the finals together’’, she pleaded.
Efe was called to the diary room and he finally nominated Tboss, Bally, Bassey and DebbieRise for eviction.
He was however unsettled as he felt it was a set – up which he would pay dearly for.
So far, the nomination power is the only known advantage of the Ultimate Head of House title as Big Brother is yet to announce others.
