A newly conferred Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Tanimu Inuwa has attributed his new achievement to support from his colleagues in the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Inuwa who spoke at a ceremony to celebrate his elevation as SAN, said that the attainment would not have been possible but for the support of his colleages who spurred him to work harder.
The new SAN is a Deputy Director in charge of litigation, legal Services Department of Independent National Electoral Commission ( INEC) Headquarters.
Inuwa praised INEC staff for their cooperation and management of the organisation for the provision of working tools.
He thanked the chairman of the commission for ensuring that a standard library was provided which met the required standard for the conferment.
Tanimu Inuwa SAN was born on 12 April 1966 and hails from kachia local government in Kaduna State.
He graduated from Bayero University Kano in 1989 and proceeded to the Nigeria law school Lagos after which he was called to bar on 12th December 1990.
Dignitaries that grace the conferment ceremony include Kaduna state Governor Nasir El-rufai who was represented by his Deputy Barnabas Bala.
El-rufai commended the celebrator for his contribution to the educational development of Kachia and Kaduna state in general.
“The state is proud to celebrate his elevation to the highest rank of his profession,” he said while encouraging him to continue using his position for the peaceful coexistence and development of Kaduna state and Nigeria.
