President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday presided over the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The meeting was attended by the Vice President and ministers.
It is a forum where major decisions concerning the running of the federal government are taken. Some of the decisions taken at the meeting are:
• Approval of the E-wallet system of fertilizer allocation and distribution.
• Approval of a three-year borrowing plan (2016-2018) at low interest rate for the country.
• Approval for the renaming of Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals Development to the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development.
